Mercedes McGrath currently studies the MPhil in Gender Studies at the University of Cambridge, writing her dissertation on lesbian identities in the cinema of Chantal Akerman. Mercedes was previously a student on the course Poetry and the Occult by Kirsten Norrie. Her poetry was featured in the New River Press 2019 Yearbook.
